The Original Storyline
A volcano on a distant planet named Bazoik has erupted hurling chunks of rock far into space. Upon examination, small green slug-like life forms were discovered clinging to the rocks. When exposed to the nutritional elements of breakfast cereal, the slugs expand into larger lifeforms. These lifeforms, now called Flemoids, have captured the citizens of Bazoik and have taken control of the Bazoik Nutritional Development Facility. Conventional weapons have no effect on these creatures so zorch devices have been re-calibrated using transporter technology and can be used to transport the Flemoids back to their own dimension. As a member of the Chex Squadron, your mission is to arrive at Bazoik, rid the planet of the Flemoid invasion, and rescue the hostages to save the day!

My Version of the Storyline
While the storyline serves its purpose, I wanted to create a storyline to provide more background, explain some of the observable game elements, and make it appear somewhat more plausible. (Notice I said somewhat.)
